Wires are processed through our Corporate Credit Union and then forwarded to us. To send a wire transfer to a WFCU member, the sender needs to know the following information:

Receiving Institution ABA: 271987635

Receiving Institution Name: Members United Corporate FCU

Receiving Institution Short Name: Members United CRP FCU

Receiving Institution City and State: Warrenville, IL

Further Credit Name: Wakota Federal Credit Union

Further Institution ABA: 296075522

Final Credit: Member’s name

Final Credit Account Number: Member’s account number

What is a wire transfer?
A wire transfer is an electronic payment service for transferring funds by an automated system.

How do I send a domestic or international wire transfer?
To send a wire, simply fill out this form and bring it in to our office. You may also fax it to 651-451-1385 for your convenience.

What is a SWIFT Code number?
The Society for Worldwide Interbank Financial Telecommunications (SWIFT) is an industry-owned co-operative. Each bank has its own code number to identify itself. In the United States, we generally use a bank "routing" number to identify a bank for electronic transfers.

What is an IBAN number?
The International Bank Account Number (IBAN) is the international standard for identifying international bank accounts across national borders. Currently, the United States does not participate in IBAN.
