Please contact a CU representative at 651-451-3330, press 5 or complete this online form, if you are traveling outside of Minnesota. We will need to know the location(s) and dates of your upcoming travel. This extra step is to protect your debit card from potential fraud. We recommend that you bring at least one other form of payment besides your debit card while traveling.

Activating your new card
You will be required to activate your new card and select a PIN before making purchases. Simply follow the instructions that will be included with your new card!

Update any recurring payments
For convenience, Wakota Federal Credit Union Debit Mastercard can be used to pay reoccurring services that are billed directly to your card, such as internet services, insurance, gym fees, etc., contact those merchants and provide your contactless Debit Mastercard number and expiration date to get started.
Sign up for Debit Card Controls on the Mobile App
Total control, wherever you go! You can temporarily lock your card if you lose it or see possible fraud, report it lost, set-up alerts and view activity.
How to access:
- Click the ‘MORE’ button at the bottom menu of the mobile app
- Under Member Service click on ‘Manage My Cards’.
- Finally select the card you wish to control.
